Urmil - Welcome I'm glad you arrived here as well. You sound ready to make your move. The self-honor you describe is vital to create the fulfilling work that you want. Where are you going to be on January 2? If you can make it come to Pittsburgh for the http://www.biglinkrally.com/ Big Link Rally. It will be an ideal environment for you.

I dont know how i have landed on this page & have loved it completely. Been working for last 7 years but have always thought i can do much more, have changed jobs have always changed for better, have been very restless. everytime i was working i wasnt content & happy, wasnt myself. i knew i could continue like this do my work half heartedly & keep earning my bucks but no then i realised its not fair & i quit. i dont know what am i going to do but this time i wana do something of my own.. my soul has been crying for it for a very long time. people who know me are very curious & confident that am going to do something great as i have always been doing different things & been good at it. but am waiting for it to come on its own. am not thinking anything. but i know it for sure whatever i do this time wil come from my heart & i would do it passioanately.
again i dont know how i have landed on this page, & how did i even decide to write here. Feel fearless:)) feel free...

Great article. I agree. For a long time the biggest fear was the money thing until I realized that my time is worth a lot more!!! I'm now doing freelance design and illustration from home and loving it.

Robin that's beautiful to know. When we were kids we just did things for the joy of it. It seems as though you continued along this path and at the same time by not making money a big deal the comfort came. Good show. I admire you for choosing what you want.

My partner and I were just discussing last night how we would be doing the same things as we are doing now if we had a lot more money.

I used this way of thinking even when I had very little money (we are comfortable now), which was for several years. I was not working, so my days were free, and I focused on how my activities were actually the things I wanted to be doing, however much money I had (they weren't exactly, but were as close as I could get) - I think this was a big part of how I changed things around. (couldn't resist my other comment just now!)

Robins last blog post..<a href="http://letsliveforever.net/2008/08/this-blogging-life/">This Blogging Life!</a>
